Our client, Alvin, was recently hired as a laborer at a local dock, where he repairs U.S. Naval ships, cruise ships, and aircraft carriers. “The people here welcomed me with open arms,” he said. “I tell people to come to this program because the staff really wants to help.” Congratulations, Alvin!

Jim had the honor of attending the NJ Institute for Social Justice press conference for the “Dignity for Incarcerated Primary Caretaker Parents Act” with Assemblywoman Yvonne Lopez & Senator Cory Booker. The bill establishes policies that encourage and promote visitation, particularly for inmates who are primary caretaker parents.
