On Friday morning, July 7, NJRC held an all-staff meeting at its new Community Resource Center at Kearny Point, where beautiful photographs and graphics with historical and cultural relevance have been installed throughout. The images shown in the meeting area feature the Statue of Liberty and New York City skyline, historical photographs of South Kearny ship workers during World War II, a map of Kearny Point and the surrounding area, and present-day workers in action. These images are meant to invoke inspiration in NJRC clients as they reenter society and prepare for employment opportunities. Thank you to Hugo Neu for welcoming our program to Kearny Point. For more information on the new CRC building, please visit http://njreentry.org/crctour/.
