The New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault
The New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault (NJCASA) is the statewide advocacy and capacity-building organization that represents New Jersey’s 21 county-based sexual violence programs, the Rutgers University – New Brunswick Office of Violence Prevention and Victim Assistance, and a cohort of eight culturally specific programs. NJCASA’s mission is to center anti-oppression and anti-racist principles to eradicate sexual violence and support survivors and their loved ones by working collaboratively to promote equity, justice, and healing.
Our membership programs offer free, confidential support to survivors and their loved ones across NJ.

Helping women and families through crisis to self-suffiency since 1905.
WomenRising is the State of New Jersey’s designated provider for Hudson County’s domestic violence programming. For over 40 years, Women Rising has provided direct, immediate, and comprehensive access to services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for women and children victimized by domestic violence.

New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking
Let’s create a safer state
The New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking (NJCAHT) is a volunteer-based 501c3 nonprofit founded in 2011 with a mission to unite NJ communities to end human trafficking. It provides trauma-informed and survivor-informed awareness training in schools, healthcare, financial services, and all community groups wishing to learn how to end sex and labor trafficking in New Jersey. Comprising over 150 volunteers and more than 200 affiliates including nonprofits, faith-based organizations, academics, law enforcement, and direct service providers it works to empower communities with the knowledge of what human trafficking is, how to prevent it, and how to support those affected by it.
Programs include:
- CLEAR Program for Schools (a 5-step prevention education program which includes lesson plans conforming to NJ Learning Standards)

Peaceful Families Project
Working toward preventing all types of abuse in Muslim families
The Peaceful Families Project is a 501(c)(3) national organization with international reach devoted to preventing domestic violence, with a particular focus on Muslim families of diverse cultural, ethnic and racial backgrounds. In an effort to affect change in all areas impacting victims and survivors of domestic violence, programming includes prevention and intervention in its approach to community education and development, training and technical assistance, and research. PFP encourages a holistic approach to addressing domestic violence through collaboration with faith and community leaders, community members, social service professionals, activists, educators, mental health providers, medical professionals, attorneys, and youth leaders.

Domestic Violence Awareness Foundation
Sarah's Daughters Founded in 2010 by Reverend Dr. Bertha Reels, Sarah’s Daughters is a Domestic Violence Awareness Organization committed to educating the public and providing a safe haven for victims and their families. Our mission is to empower survivors through advocacy, counseling, education, job training, and access to vital resources. We work with courts, law enforcement, and community partners to stop domestic violence through awareness events, workshops, and professional training. Every 20 seconds, someone is affected by domestic violence. At Sarah’s Daughters, we strive to bring healing, hope, and long-term restoration to those in need.

Empowering Women in Need
LINDA is a non-profit organization dedicated to collecting and distributing new and gently used cosmetics, toiletries, and other essential items that may be financially out of reach for women whose lives have been temporarily disrupted by involvement in the criminal justice system. We support these women by offering workshops that help bridge gaps in both job-seeking skills and life management.
Our Mission We bridge the gap for women transitioning from incarceration or escaping domestic abuse, helping them reclaim their freedom. We serve women facing homelessness, mental health challenges, and/or substance use disorders.
