Medicaid and SNAP are essential components of successful reentry. Changes that reduce access increase barriers and weaken community stability.

• Medicaid supports health care, mental health and addiction treatment.
• SNAP supports food stability and economic security.
• Assists Court-Involved, Veterans, and Recovery persons to stabilize.
• Reduced access to benefits increases, hunger, illness, relapse, recidivism.
