Lopez & Pintor Marin Introduce “Survivors Justice Act” to assist Victims of Domestic Violence

NJRC is grateful to Chairwoman Pintor Marin and Assemblywoman Lopez for introducing the Survivors of Justice Act (SJA) to the Legislature. SJA will allow courts to recognize the role abuse plays & grant reduced sentences.

Thank you to the New Jersey Coalition to End Domestic Violence (NJCEDV) and the New Jersey Survivors of Abuse Network for Dignity and Safety (NJSANDS) for your advocacy.

We urge all State Legislators to support this critical bill to ensure that survivors can share their history of abuse.
